Abstract: In this project a wireless device was designed, based on 2.4 GHz transceivers for children surveillance, in public places. The device consists of a Parent Module brought by parent and one or more Satellite Modules, each of them brought by their child. Parent Module can be set in two modes, Surveillance and Calling. On the Surveillance mode, Parent Module will automatically vibrate if any Satellite Module begins out of range. On the Calling mode, parent can command any Satellite module to activate its buzzer. The experimental results showed that the out-of-range distance was between 6.3m and 10.2m, and parent could call a Satellite Module as far as 101m
